Michael Easley has been coaching and developing business executives for over two decades. Easley is now looking to shift his focus from helping people in their professional advancement, to coaching them in their life, family and personal growth. Mike Easley is launching his brand new book, 'The Antics'. The book is set to go live on July 22, 2021 and is available on Amazon and the author's website and is expected to become a big hit with fans of the self-help, men and relationships world.
More information on the book can be found here: https://theanticsbook.com
This is the first book Easley has authored. The book was written with the aim in mind to write a self-help psychology book that concretizes the impacts of living in dysfunctional relationships. Readers are given a peek into what it's like to love a woman who is overly involved with herself. There's also particular excitement about this launch because it is a highly reviewed first release from an author who has been hugely successful in the coaching and business worlds while developing his own personal growth journey.
'The Antics' sets its focus on a dysfunctional relationship where the man is the caregiver and the woman the narcissist. Readers will likely find this interesting as most stereotypical relationships have the man as the narcissist and the woman as caregiver. This book turns that on its head and allows men in similar situations to stop feeling ashamed or weak in this situation.
Mike has a background in coaching and developing executives for over two decades while at the same time continuing his own personal growth journey. Mike is currently working on a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Grand Canyon University and hopes to augment his helping skills by becoming a licensed professional counsellor and certified life coach. Mike also holds an MBA and a BS degree in Engineering. Mike's life experiences informed the fictional characters and story. Mike believes that all three of his marriages were with similar women and were all dysfunctional relationships based on his role as caregiver and the wife's unrelentingly taker of that care.
When asked about why they wrote the book, Easley said: "What you (kind of always) find is the stereotypical relationship (wherein) the man is the "narcissist", and the woman is not. So, I want to write stuff built on the perspective where the man is the caregiver and the woman is the narcissist."
Easley has hopes that the book will change the stereotype where he believes "men typically feel shamed for being weak. To talk about your feelings, and mistakes you made, or stuff you are working through - there may be a lot of shame involved in that. And men (usually) don't want to talk about it." At 60 years of age, Mike Easley is hoping to change the conversation so that men feel more able to talk about their relationships with a narcissistic woman.
Recently, the author made a point of thanking Kevin Bullard, Founder & President of Marriage Works! for taking the time to fully review the book from the perspective of a professional in the relationship counselling world.
Kevin B Bullard's review says: 'As a marriage educator and coach for the past 20 years I have encountered hundreds of couples in relationships in various stages of distress More than once I have coached couples like Carence and Narcy. I wish I had a copy of The Antics prior to those sessions because I would have recommended the book to them to help those couples stop the crazy.'
